| Description | SoulTech (Scott Burkhalter): Scott has carried a deep love for music all his life. Classically trained from an early age, at 6 he began studying the piano, at 11 the Cello, and at 14 he bought his first guitar. He's developed a unique style over 30 years, playing both electric and acoustic guitars, and singing for various bands and as a solo artist. He plays a mixture of 70's-to-now pop/rock, and writes his own well crafted stories about life, the path we travel on, and the human condition; writing songs with a depth of heart and sophistication that belies his technical skills and expressing his passion. Scott was awarded 2nd place in the 2011 Songwriters In Seattle original song competition, and continues to write, perform, and contribute in the greater Seattle area. |
