Open Mic poetry reading 7:00 ? 9:00 PM Come listen or bring in a poem and share it with a lot of others with a common interest. It?s not all boring , it actually is a lot of fun. Wednesday 5/19/2010 ? Live Comedy night 8:00 ? 10:00 PM Seating starts at 7:00 PM Show starts at 8:00. Cost is $15.00 Bernie Prussing mixes humor, comedy, and song in his stage appearances and presents himself as the Marty Feldman look-alike with a guitar. As with Marty, you can't tell which of Bernie's eyes is looking at you, unless he tells you. He is a regular troubadour and entertainer for The Three-Stones Group's discussion series and various corporate sponsored programs. He is based in Seattle and conducts stage acts throughout the State of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia on a full time basis. Pick up the basic footwork, turns, and partnership. You will walk away from these classes feeling confidant and ready to hit the dance floor. Saucy styling for the ladies and cool moves for the guys! Beginning and Fundamental Series ? Monday Nights starting the 24th of May Argentine Tango, is a sophisticated, passionate dance that will provide the dedicated practitioner an intelligent, sensual way to socialize, develop subtle balance and body awareness. This class series will focus on establishing a solid lead-follow connection and a basic vocabulary of Tango movements that will allow you to navigate the dance floor. Absolute Beginner Class: No previous experience is necessary and no partner is required! We will do our best to maintain an even lead-follow balance within the class. Space is limited to 12 couples so sign up early! When: Monday nights from 7:00?8:00pm, 1/2 hour guided practice begins at 9:00pm Tango Fundamentals A: For those who have completed our Absolute Beginner Class or with permission of the instructors. Continue your exploration of this dance as we build on the basic techniques and figures covered in our introductory class. When: Monday nights from 8:00-9:00pm, followed by 1/2 hour guided practice Cost: $60 per person for the series (This works out to $12 per class including practice time!)
